Stretched-out by prayer

“By Prayer” has been our motto from the beginning of the mission. It appears consistently on our letterhead and on the walls of our buildings.

SIM knows that power is available through prayer for the spiritual battles we face. To pray fervently is our goal. The word literally means to be stretched out.

We are not so concerned with the amount of time spent; rather we want to see our intercession earnestly brought before our Heavenly Father. Prayer is not only a privilege but also a duty. It is our lifeline. Let us spend it stretched-out. Prayer is not just for the work; it IS the work, and missionaries depend on it.
